Biography
I grew up in Butte, Montana, but have lived in Nevada for a very long time. I received my undergraduate and graduate degrees in journalism from the University of Nevada, Reno and my secondary certification to teach journalism and English from Sierra Nevada College. I have a long history in newspapers and was editor of the Nevada Appeal and the Daily Democrat, a newspaper in Woodland, California.
I love Politics. I ran for mayor of Carson City. My husband is an almost
native Carson City guy who graduated from CHS. I have two wonderful children,
Jessie and Johanna, two step-children, and three grandchildren, the youngest who
was born in June in New York City.
