Ms. Baker has been working for the Carson City School District for 25 years. From 1979 to 1981 Ms. Baker worked as a truant officer for Carson High School. From 1981 to 1982 she continued at Carson High School as a P.E. teacher. In 1982 she began teaching P.E. at Eagle Valley Middle School and continued in that position for three years. She then started teaching math/algebra until 1999. From 1981 to 1994, she coached tennis but because of an injury, she had to stop coaching. In 1999 she returned to Carson High as a math teacher. She stated, "I love the change I made to CHS." In 2002, she continued to coach tennis once again.
Ms. Baker also gives her time, before and after school, tutoring any student that may need help preparing for the math proficiency test. Her hobbies include playing tennis and grading papers. You can find her in Room #224.
