BILL BARBIE Mr. Barbie is Carson High's Auto Shop I, II, and III teacher. Mr. Barbie has taught at this school for 20 years and has taught for a total of 27 years during his career. Mr. Barbie's favorite part of teaching is the students. He gets along with all of them and enjoys working in an environment with some younger co-workers.

COURSE DESCRIPTIONS:
Auto I---A one year course introducing
the student to the make-up and operation of the automobile's component
system. Maintenance, diagnostic, and repair skills will be developed
by the student. Safe working habit, correct tool usage, consumer
awareness and career opportunities will be emphasized to help prepare the
student for later employment.
Auto II---A one year occupational career courses for the student seeking job entry, skills in the transportation related field. Following the industry example of specialization, the student will study and complete hands-on training in a number of units.
Auto III---During this course the student will review and practice all previously learned theories and skills. Advance study will be performed on computer, anti lock brakes, system electronics, pollution control sensors, air fuel control mechanisms, and a basic review of all of the systems.
