National Honor Society
The National Honor Society was created in 1921 by the National Association of Secondary School Principals to recognize and encourage academic achievement while developing other characteristics essential to citizens in a democracy. Today, the National Honor Society is the premier nationwide organization for high school students who reflect outstanding accomplishments in areas of academics, character, leadership, and service.

The Carson High chapter of the National Honor Society meets the first Wednesday of every month during lunch in room #277--the Band room. Meetings consist of a Secretary's report, Treasurer's report, information from the N.H.S President, and old & new business
