This is her fifth year teaching at Carson High School. The focus of the Study Skill class is to provide students with the necessary skills for academic achievement. This class will consist of lessons including teaching students to take responsibility for their own learning by becoming self-advocates. Students will also learn note-taking, studying, test-taking, learning style, organization and time management strategies. A large portion of class time is dedicted to students doing homework and studing for test. Support and assistance on assignments will be given when needed.
