Billy McHenry has been teaching math at Carson High School since 2002. He is an assistant football coach and an assistant coach for the alpine ski team. He was also the head coach of the hockey club that won the state championship in 2004.
Mr. McHenry received his BA in Business from Mercer University in Atlanta, Georgia in 1987. In 1991 he completed his teacher certification ar Sierra Nevada College in incline Village, Nevada. He taught and coached at incline Middle School (3 years), Sparks High School (3 years), and Lakeside High School (4 years) before coming to Carson.
Him and his wife Kelli live in Minden with their daughter Riley, 3 dogs Lacy, Hope, and Daisy, and cat Curtis. In his free time Mr. McHenry enjoys back country and cross country skiing, hiking, trail running, and water skiing.
