Fred Steinle (304)
Mr. Steinle teaches Sociology, World History and Psychology. He is an assistant coach for the CHS Ski Team. This is his eighth year teaching in the Carson City School District.

Mr. Steinle was raised in Greenville, Plumas County, California and attended all 12 grades there. He attended the University of Nevada, Reno on a music scholarship. While at UNR Mr. Steinle was one of the "Original Tubas" in the Wolf Pack Marching Band. Mr. Steinle earned Bachelor's of Sciences Degrees in both Philosophy and Biology in 1984.

Mr. Stenlie has been teaching since 1987. A self-styled "renaissance man", Mr. Steinle has teaching credentials in Science, Mathematics and Social Studies. He earned his Master's in Education in 2000 and is a licensed k-12 school administrator. He likes teaching Social Studies best because it is so interesting and so fun!

Besides teaching his students the most interesting and exciting subjects at CHS Mr Steinle enjoys telemark skiing, world travel, playing guitar and mandola, bicycling, mountain climbing, photography and spending time with his family.
