Susan Taylor - Carson High School

I was hired in 1980 to develop and teach a photography program at Carson High School. That first year we started with one camera, one enlarger, and a very small darkroom. Now, over twenty-five years later, we have one of the finest high school facilities in the nation--utilized by up to 100 students each year. Our curriculum is very similar to what can be found at many community colleges.

I received my B.A. in art education from California State University, Fresno and my M.A. in humanities from California State University, Dominguez Hills. Prior to college, I spent my youth growing up on a lake amidst the hills and forests of southern Indiana. In my free time I enjoy reading, gardening, computer graphics, metaphysical adventuring, and spoiling my cat, dogs, koi, and grandchildren.
