STUDENT HEALTH SERVICES' main objective is to strengthen the educational process by assisting students to improve or adapt to their health status. The staff promote wellness and disease prevention by early identification of hidden health problems that interfere with learning.

  • Evaluation of student health and developmental status
  • Immunizations available. Assistance in communicable disease control
  • Screening students for vision, hearing, dental, scoliosis, etc.
  • Administration of prescribed medication & treatments
  • Student health counseling
  • Teaching health and wellness
  • First aid medical care
  • Assist students, parents, teachers to adapt to student's chronic health problems
  • Resource for financial assistance when necessary, i.e., Lions Club (vision), Shiners (scoliosis), etc.
  • Crisis intervention
