Cooperative Occupational Education
Cooperative Occupational Education for 11th and 12th grade students offers a chance to extend what they learn in the classroom into a workplace setting. They can earn 1/2 credit for every 135 hours of work completed, not to exceed 2 credits per school year, including summer hours. Students must have a job before applying and must apply for admission with their counselor. The counseling office must accept the COE Contract before hours will count toward credit. Paycheck stubs must be submitted at least every 30 days to ensure proper accounting of hours. Once a student earns 135 hours, he or she is responsible to obtain a supervisor evaluation.

The COE Contract form is available to download using the link below, or can be picked up at the Guidance Office. The Supervisor Evaluation forms are available from the Guidance Office.
