Mrs. Trish Stephenson began working for the Carson City School District in 1987 as a Substitute Teacher. She transferred to Carson High School in 1997 and was the secretary for the Language Arts Department for five years. This year she began in the Administration Office as Mr. Perdomo's secretary and has recently been hired as the Administrative Secretary for SASI at Carson High. Mrs. Stephenson says she misses substitute teaching, but enjoys seeing all the kids she used to teach grown up and attending high school. "They look the same, just taller," she says.
Mrs. Stephenson is a 1971 graduate of Carson High. She has two children who also graduated from Carson High School. Son Tyson graduated in 1996, and daughter Kara graduated in 2000. Tyson attended the United States Naval Academy and graduated May, 2001. Kara is attending UNR majoring in photography. Mrs. Stephenson has been married for 25 years and has two pet Beta fish.
This is Mrs. Stephenson's sixth year as coach for the Freshman, JV, and Varsity cheerleaders at Carson High.
